Welcome to my website. I am a professional artist living and working in the pastoral uplands of Devon, close to the Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks - the Country of the Two Rivers made famous by Henry Williamson in his book "Tarka the Otter". I specialise in animals, including the livestock and wildlife of the region.
A selection of my original paintings is available through a number of leading galleries in the UK including the Steam Gallery at Beer, Devon, the Salar Gallery at Hatherlleigh and at the 2014 NEWA exhibition where one of my paintings is still available to purchase.
I am delighted to have been asked to provide a painting for the Art4Macmillan Art Auction which will be held at Michelmores Solicitors in Exeter on 17th October and decided to paint Millie enjoying some downtime. Macmillans Cancer Support do some remarkable work, if you are able to support their auction in October you will be more than welcome - please note attendance is by ticket only. Further details can be found by clicking the link in this paragraph. The auction catalogue is now available to view or download via Michelmore's site, again please click the link.
I have a selection of open and limited edition prints for sale, details of which can be found on my Prints page. I also have a number of limited edition prints available through Buckingham Fine Art Publishers.
Time permitting I am able to undertake commissions in oil and pastel - please refer to my Commissions page for details.
I run a (very) limited number of animal painting courses from my home studio near Torrington, where I also offer private tuition by arrangement. A consultancy service by email is also available, along with a range of e-workshops. You will find further details on my Tuition and E-mail Tuition pages.
